Date Nights? What Are Those?

Before kids, date nights were effortless. Now? A romantic evening means collapsing on the couch with takeout and hoping we don’t fall asleep mid-bite.

At first, I thought we needed big moments to keep our connection strong. Fancy dinners. Weekend getaways. But then I realized—small moments matter more.

Like laughing together over our baby’s newest attempt at “art” (a.k.a. mashed bananas on the wall). Or sneaking in a quiet conversation while the baby naps.

Parenthood changes everything, but love doesn’t have to take a backseat. Sometimes, a simple “I love you” over cold pizza is all you need.

Because at the end of the day, love isn’t about grand gestures—it’s about showing up, even when you’re exhausted.
